Pick And Place
Snack Engineering’s bespoke Pick and Place system utilises 6no Omron Delta robots to pack a challenging and oddly shaped product into trays before being flow wrapped.
The machine has 2no vision systems to sort the snacks: filtering out incorrectly sized and shaped snacks, and preventing them from being packed. This information is fed to each robot and up to 6 snacks are picked in one cycle with small pneumatic pin cylinders before being dropped into the moving flow wrapper.
